Rodeo Austin Gala

I must say I had a fabulous time!! From the silent auction shopping and raffle drawings to the dancing and entertainment it was an unforgetable night. All funds raised at the Gala benefited Rodeo Austin’s mission. Take a look at some of our fabulous pictures!

UT Town Hall Meeting Today

- Budget reallocation within the college
- Tuition increase proposal for 2010-2011 and 2011-2012
- Request from the governor for a prioritized plan for a 5% budget reduction in state general revenue funds
If you are interested in attending, the town hall meeting starts at 4:00 in the Avaya Auditorium room 2.302 in the ACES Building.
“No Text While Driving”- in full effect

Austin police officers will no longer be giving warnings. Offenders will be ticketed and could pay up to $500 in fines. Visit the Statesman to see what Austinites are saying about this!

Gun Raffle

Tickets are just $20 each!! Winners will take their certificate to McBrides to redeem their gun or use the cost of the gun towards something of equal value. The drawing is March 17th and winners do not have to be present at this time.
The Lone Star Cattlemen Foundation (LSC Foundation) is an organization dedicated to rewarding youth livestock show exhibitors through the purchase of show animals. The LSC Foundation assists young Texans financially in realizing their college dreams.
